Don’t be left clueless anymore. If you are presently planning for a vacation in the next year, here is the ultimate bucket list for you come next summer.
1. Go on an island adventure
This can be any Michigan islands near you. You don’t have to hop into a plane to get to one. There is so much you can do there. You could go on boat rides. For boats, you could rent one there.
But, if you are a boating enthusiast, why not buy one for yourself? There are lots of affordable pontoon boats for sale in Michigan. All you have to do is look around and, surely, you will find one. You can go for hikes, bike rides or picnics. There are just so many activities to engage in while on an Island.
2. Go Skydiving
This might seem like a common vacation activity, but most families never get to do it actually. It is a risky yet thrilling activity. With the warm summer weather, any day can be a skydiving day. This is a memory to keep with you and your entire family. Oh, and it’s very safe by the way.
3. Go on a hot air balloon ride
If you are scared of heights, this is a must-do activity. You will no longer fear heights. Even more interesting, share this experience with your loved ones. You will love it!
The feeling of flying as you watch the city below you is extremely thrilling but powerful. Since you are traveling with the wind, you should not be worried about the cold breeze unless when changing the altitude or when the wind speed changes.
4. Go on a long road trip
Forget flying or taking the train. Take a couple of your friends with you on a long road trip. Where to, is not important. Make stopovers along the way and enjoy what each place has to offer. You will henceforth appreciate taking road trips.
5. Go on a helicopter ride
Who said helicopters are just for the rich. Save up and take yourself for a ride with that special person to a worthwhile destination, say, to the Grand Canyon. Or, to Vegas for dinner. Every person needs a VIP treatment every once in a while, so treat yourself to a helicopter ride to your dream destination.
6. Go mountain hiking
If there is one activity that will teach you resilience and test your level of patience, then it is mountain hiking. Start with low altitude mountain and build your way up.
It may seem difficult at first. Even just the thought of doing it is daunting in itself, but don’t fret, it is doable, and you will feel so proud and accomplished after that.
Summer is the best time to try out new things. So, gather the courage and do the one thing that scares you just by the thought of it. It will make your summer more memorable. If you don’t know where to start, try one of the items in the list above — and if you’re feeling brave, try them all.
